The Sparks Police Department in conjunction with the Reno Police Department and the Washoe County Sheriff's Office have combined resources to form the Regional Sex Offender Notification Unit.

The Regional Sex Offender Notification Unit under NRS 179D (Nevada Revised Statutes), provides the community with information regarding sex offenders who have been paroled, discharged, or who reside in the area. The Regional Sex Offender Notification Unit can also be reached at (775) 334-2007.
